The service life of a Silver Cleaning Cloth depends on several factors, such as:

• How often you use it.
• The size of cloth you purchased.
• How much it matters to you that the cloth looks dirty.

Our experience is that SilverBrite® Silver Cleaning Cloths have a long service life.

You can reuse them until you notice a decrease in cleaning effectiveness in accordance with your expectations, or if it becomes very dirty, it may make your articles dirty. If this is the case, using a new cloth is all it takes to restore the brightness to your silver articles.

The Silver Cleaning Cloths contain a chemical formulation that removes tarnish from your silver articles as well as an antioxidant agent to protect them. Therefore, the cloth remains effective as long as it is not washed.

The Silver Cleaning Cloth and the Jewelry Cleaning cloth are two different products, and contain different chemical formulas. Even though you will notice positive differences in any article with either cloth, their effectiveness is specific and you will not obtain the same results if you use the cloths interchangeably.

SilverBrite® Silver Cleaning Cloth contains a chemical formula that removes tarnish specifically for silver, although it also makes your gold shine brighter. However, we do not recommend that you use it to clean delicate articles, such as those containing pearls, coral and other porous stones.

SilverBrite® Jewelry Cleaning Cloth does not contain the same chemicals that react with the tarnish on your silver articles, which means it will not be as effective to clean silver.

Using the SilverBrite® Jewelry Cleaning Cloth you can clean any silver or silver plated article. You can also clean silver items with precious or semi-precious stones on them.

Some items are more difficult to clean with the SilverBrite® Silver Cleaning Cloth, such as silver chains or items in detailed relief and nooks and crannies that are not accessible with the cloth. In these cases, we recommend you use the SilverBrite® Silver Cleaner Instant Dip, as the liquid cleaning agent can remove tarnish from those hard to access places.

In terms of the quantity of cloth by packaging (centimeters squared), the Silver Cleaning Cloth size "S" is the cheapest size, since it contains almost 7 times more cloth than the "M" size, and 1.75 times more cloth than the "L" size.

In terms of unit price by packaging, the cheapest is size "M", followed by size "L," and finally size "S."
